Vintage Wyler Stainless Steel Hand Wind Mens Watch 17J E1220 Serviced 1940s
This is a vintage wristwatch dating to circa 1940. This is beautiful, clean, and in excellent condition. The watch has been thoroughly cleaned. The movement has just been serviced. The watch runs well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The case is all stainless steel and it is about 23mm wide not including the crown. It is about 35mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a high quality Wyler E1220 ETA 1220 Ebauche hand winder and it has 17 jewels. The band is a new good quality Genuine Leather strap. The total length of the watch is about 9 3/4 inches. This uses a 17 to 18 mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures. This makes even the slightest imperfections and specks of dust appear much more prominent though they are often not visible without magnification. Vintage Omega Seamaster Mariner III 80s. All original (except bracelet). The general condition of the watch is good despite its age. All of the functions work properly and keeps good time. It has an original Omega 1420 caliber inside. The rare rectangular design of the watch differenciates this vintage Omega from the others. The shiny yellow bezel is solid gold. There is no visual defect on its dial. The color of the date wheel is coherent with the black dial. This special Omega is one of the member of the Mariner series.
