This vintage Zenith Tank watch from the 1940s is a true collector’s item. The handmade two-piece leather strap complements the stainless steel case with teardrop lugs. Lanco Vintage Tank Watch Cal. Langendorf 826 circa 1940s

Original Lanco vintage tank timepiece from the 40s. Stainless steel case measures 22,4mm without the crown (23,5 including the crown) x 35mm lug to lug. Original two tone dial, with signs from age. Note that the pictures were taken with a macro lens, in real life those are barely visible. Still intact on the numerals. Original blued hour, minute and seconds hands with lume material still in place. Crystal has crazed lightly from the impact of time but it is still quite ok in my opinion. Langerdof 826 (Lanco) caliber, keeps very good time but last known service is unknown to me so I would recommend one for peace of mind. This is a vintage wristwatch dating to circa 1940. This is beautiful, clean, and in excellent condition. The watch has been thoroughly cleaned. The movement has just been serviced. The watch runs well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The case is all stainless steel and it is about 23mm wide not including the crown. It is about 35mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a high quality Wyler E1220 ETA 1220 Ebauche hand winder and it has 17 jewels. The band is a new good quality Genuine Leather strap. The total length of the watch is about 9 3/4 inches. This uses a 17 to 18 mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Stunning vintage 1940's swiss made 15J art deco Cyma stainless steel tank watch

For sale beautiful Swiss made 1940’s Cyma stainless steel vintage tank watch. In superb, original condition this watch has a two piece stainless steel case. The case is in excellent condition with art deco styling and fixed bars. It has a wonderful two tone dial in excellent original and unrestored condition, which for vintage tanks especially, is very important. The dial has arabic markers with sub second dial and original blued steel hands. The watch has its original crown and curved plexiglass. It has a snap on case back that when removed has the movement and dial attached. The inside of the caseback has stamped “Acier Staybrite – swiss made – 25303 – 5523″. The movement is stamped with ref. 364 and is 15 jewels. The watch uses a high quality swiss made cyma manual wind movement. The watch keeps excellent time winding nice and smoothly. It is 24mm in diameter including crown and 21mm without. It is 40mm lug to lug and lug spacing is 16mm. It has a ratchet clasp allowing for adjustment and really suits the watch. This is a fantastic original watch that wears really nicely on the wrist. It also has a stunning dial with the all important stainless steel case.
