This is a brand New tank from Custom Chrome that we added a Fuel sight tube. We have used them on many builds like xs-650 bobbers and Sportsters. Frisco mount Sportster tank for custom use. Tunnel is 1.5″ High and 2-1/4″ wide. Tank is 17.5″ Long and 9″ Wide. 3/8 NPT Petcock Bung Right Side. Two 1/4 NPT Cross over Bungs. We Have Mounting Kits and Gas Caps In our Store. A fuel capacity of 2.8 gallons and accepts a bayonet style gas cap. The tank is universal with front and rear mounting tabs. It uses a 3/8 National Pipe Thread style petcock, pre-1975. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check the petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. The petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock. Tank accepts Bayonet vented style gas caps.
