This is a brand new tank from MID-USA that we added a Fuel sight tube. We have used them on many builds like xs-650 bobbers and Sportsters MID-USA 81025 Frisco mount Sportster tank for custom use. Tank length 15 1/2. Tank length with tabs 17 1/2. Tank front width 9. Tank has a 2.4 gallon capacity. Tank uses 1982 and later screw in type gas cap (not included). A fuel capacity of 2.4 gallons and accepts a screw in style gas cap. The tank is universal with front and rear mounting tabs. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check the petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. The petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock. Tank accepts screw in vented style gas caps.
