Sarcar Geneve Tank Stepped Case Manual Swiss made Watch -Original Strap & Buckle. About the watch & condition. Here we have a stunning, super unique vintage manual wind stepped case Tank watch, in all my years of dealing with vintage watches this is definitely in my top 10. It is one I was super temped to keep! In my opinion it sits & looks much better than a Cartier Tank which are the in thing at the moment. The watch oozes class & looks stunning with its stepped case. The actual size of the watch is great too, it is much bigger than any other tank. A stunning watch, please see further details below. On top of all this the watch itself is NOS (New Old Stock), having its original Sarcar brown leather strap & branded gold plate buckle to match the case. It still has its original sticker on the stainless steel back case. This just shows how the watch has never really been worn, potentially put on 5/6 times but nothing major. Tank watches are becoming extremely popular & have been since the release of the Cartier Tank. This style one is just like those, case & stone like crown. The main benefit of this watch is it’s just a fraction of the price, & super high quality. It is sat in a non branded watch box which is from the correct era & matches the strap that is with the watch so I believe that it is its original box. The gold dial & hands on the watch are in stunning mint condition, the black baton markers on the dial ook super classy. The crown of the watch is a stone, just like those on the Cartier tanks, which is black & really pops against the gold plated case. The best bit about this watch in my opinion is the stepped case, the case itself is in stunning condition, the gold plating has not started to wear like lots of gold plated watches from this era. This watch is a manual wind watch, meaning that the watch needs to be hand wound in order for the watch to run. The watch is fully functional & in full working order.
