Thermopanel Linear Shower Tray. Thermopanel Wetroom Shower Trays are split in half for easier transport and moveability. There are some instances where getting our shower trays through challenging hallways or tight spaces becomes a problem, and this is where our new split trays come in. Being split down the middle allows you to get these trays into the required location with ease. Please ensure the middle of the tray is sealed when installing. Thermopanel Shower Former Trays have been designed for wet rooms and walk-in showers, providing a tileable shower base, avoiding the need for the traditional’step-in’ white acrylic tray. Thermopanel Wetroom Formers allow for total flexibility and give the installer the option of building their own wetroom system. It is a lightweight flush floor panel with pre-made falls to drain and is coated with a cementitious layer ready to receive a tiled surface. Linear Drain (Flowrate: 31L to 35L/min depending on grate). Pre-made fall to drain. Under-boarding of Thermopanel required to provide support. Fully trimmable by up to 50mm off each edge (equal amounts must be trimmed from each side). Ideal for creating flush’walk in’ showering areas (rest of floor will require boarding by 10mm). Easy & quick to install. Can be used on Wood or Concrete Floors. Suitable for Mosaics, Ceramic, Porcelain, Natural Stone. Suitable for Underfloor heating. If you have a concrete floor or if there is no access under the flooring to locate the shower drain, then the tray can still be used by using a separate raised substrate. The shower trays remove many of the problems with Damp Penetration, especially with timber floors and also decreases heat loss figures due to its thermal insulation, this is also the case on solid screed floors but instead stops the heat from dispersing into the screed. The Thermopanel Tanking Kit comes with the Shower Tray (If Selected) which creates a waterproof seal to create the wet room. The Tanking Kit Contains. Covered in a reinforced cementitious coating that provides a hard wearing robust surface perfect for tiling. Thermopanel Shower Trays feature a pre-made 2% gradient fall to the drain. Thermopanel produces all of the supplies required to easily install a highly functional wet room.
